The Memorial Villages Police Officers Association consists of officers from the Memorial Villages Police Department.  The Memorial Villages Police Department works under an interlocal cooperation agreement with the cities of Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village and .  We currently have approximately 4,100 homes in our area of responsibility.

The Memorial Villages Police Officer Association is made up of approximately 95 percent of the employees of the Memorial Villages Police Department.  Our members include Administration, First Line Supervisors (Sergeants), Patrol Division, Criminal Intelligence Division (Detectives) and Dispatchers.  The association is as proud of our members as the department and the citizens we serve are. 

   

 

Mission Statement

 


“To promote the positive role of the police profession. To protect and secure members’ rights and benefits through effective representation and professional relationships with the community and local, state, and national governments.”

 

The MVPOA provides financial assistance to officers who are injured or out of work with long term illness. We also provide flowers for officers and families who are hospitalized, as well as retirement gifts.

 

In addition, we proudly support organizations like Toys for Tots and provide donations to needy families at Christmas-time.
